FOLLOWING the success of its debut performance, Flixton Community Choir is looking to boost its ranks for Christmas.
The choir performed to a full house as part of Flixton Folk Festival in July. It is returning again for a festive extravaganza singing some popular Christmas songs and carols, including Slade's classic Merry Christmas Everybody.
Choir director Ruth Boyd said: "The choir is open to everyone, this will be a real celebration of singing and Christmas, so if you like singing and you like Christmas, or even better, if you like singing about Christmas, then join in."
Rehearsals for the Christmas concert begin at St Michael's school hall, The Grove, Flixton on October 28 at 7.30pm,and take place every Tuesday.
