CHURCHILL Retirement Living is inviting people in Timperley to come up with a name for its new apartments development in Thorley Lane.
Whether it’s a moniker of local significance, or a name with historical meaning, the company is welcoming suggestions from the community.
When complete in October 2015, the development will comprise 44 one and two bedroom, privately-owned retirement apartments for people over 60.
Douglas Jones, Churchill regional managing director, said: “It’s very important to us that we work closely with the communities in which we build, and asking people living locally what they'd like the development to be called seems the right and proper thing to do.”
The winner will not only get to see their chosen name grace the front of the new development, they will also receive £100 prize as a thank you.
Douglas added: “We always find we get some great suggestions – and we hope people in Timperley can come up with a fitting name for our Thorley Lane site.”
