FUNDRAISING couple Rob and Angie Goodall from Altrincham are donning their running trainers to take part in the London Marathon, raising vital funds to support two Manchester hospitals.

Experienced marathon runner, Rob, who will also be taking part in the Paris Marathon on April 12, will be representing The Christie. He will be running in memory of his father, Peter, who sadly passed away in 2001 after an 18 month battle with cancer.

Angie will be raising funds for Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital and in particular projects supported by charitable trust, A Smile for Orly.

The charity was set up by Rebecca and Lee Feddy following the tragic and unexpected death of their 18 month year old daughter Orly.

Angie said:

“We were introduced to A Smile for Orly through mutual friends. Having young children ourselves we feel that the work the charity does with Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital is extremely worthwhile”.

Rob is raising money for the genito urinary research dund at The Christie.
