FORMER Manchester United player, Ravel Morrison, has paid tribute to the man shot dead in Urmston this week.
Police confirmed that Mr Marshall, formerly of Whalley Range, was a member of the Gooch Gang and was jailed in 2008 for his part in an attack on a gym goer in Moss Side Leisure Centre, in which a man was hit in the face with a machine gun.
Former Manchester United player, Ravel Morrison, is among those to have paid tribute to Mr Marshall online.
He tweeted: “It's mad I can be with someone 2 days later there gone.. R.I.P Dre.”
A separate tweet added: “Dre M R.I.P Brother gone but never forgotten Only 2 days ago we made plans how you could get rich.”
