TIMPERLEY primary school children turned bakers for the day in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
The reception classes at Broomwood Primary School hosted a Macmillan Coffee Afternoon on Friday September 25.
The children baked all week, making a selection of cakes, muffins and biscuits, and invited parents and carers to share the treats and have an afternoon of play at the school.
School cook Sharon Hands also got involved by making cakes for selling in the staff room. Altogether the school raised £103 for the cancer support charity.
