Chill Factore opened its doors for one morning only this week to treat pampered pets to a doggies’ day out at the UK’s first Pet Grotto.

Santa Paws, a three-year-old St Bernard, and his elf helpers arrived at Chill Factore’s Snow Kingdom on Wednesday November 25 to greet the public’s pets.

Well behaved dogs and cats arrived at the slope to play on the snow, munch on treats and dress up in festive Christmas outfits.

Special guests from Manchester and Cheshire Dogs Home also paid a visit.

Morwenna Angove, CEO at Chill Factore said: “We love Christmas at Chill Factore and like to make not only children in the North West happy, but also our well loved pets. Most animals have never seen real snow before so to be able to offer this to them is truly magical.”

Special guests from Manchester and Cheshire Dogs Home also paid a visit.

Joanne Barrow, a member of the Manchester and Cheshire Dogs Home team, said: “It is great to get the dogs out for the day and see them playing on the snow, we just wish we could bring the whole kennel. We would like to say a huge thank you to Chill Factore for inviting us to such an exciting event.”
