SHOPPERS’ cars were damaged when part of the roof of Asda in Trafford Park blew off in the stormy weather yesterday.
Trafford was battered by high winds on Sunday and storm damage has been reported across the borough.
In Trafford Park, part of the Asda store’s roof broke off and fell on vehicles in the customer car park.
An Asda spokesperson: “Due to extreme weather in the area there has been some damage to customers’ cars. Our store colleagues are liaising with the customers directly to resolve this as quickly as possible.”
The store is open as usual.
