YEAR 10 students from Flixton Girls' School (FGS) were invited to attend Edge Hill University in Ormskirk.
They had a tour of the campus facilities, met with university student ambassadors and had the opportunity to discuss different course options.
The pupils were provided with information from current higher education students.
Year 10 student Soraya Holloway said: "I had such an amazing day and decided that uni might be for me in later years."
