FAMILIES visiting the Eden Square Shopping Centre, Urmston on Thursday, September 1 will be forgiven if they think they are by the sea since there will be free entertainment synonymous with beach holidays.

There will be traditional seaside entertainment as Professor Brian Llewellyn, brings Punch, Judy, the Policeman, Baby and Joey to life in shows that feature scenes of frenzied sausage eating.

Established in 1977 with his wife Marilyn, a face painter, “Professor” Brian Llewellyn, is a second generation Punch and Judy man, presenting these famous puppets.

As well as being puppeteer, Brian is a multi faceted entertainer - also performing balloonology (the multi-coloured twisting of balloons) for walkabout, street theatre, corporate events or shopping centres.

“Since the beginning of August, we have organised family entertainment that has a distinctly seaside feel to it, ” says Dion Mulvey, manager of the Eden Square Shopping Centre. “and what can be more synonymous with a Summer Seaside holiday than Punch and Judy.”

“We do hope that families visiting the Centre have enjoyed our entertainment and the children will come and see the puppet shows on Thursday – before they return to school.”
