A FIRE broke out at a mill in Trafford Park on Friday – but thankfully nobody was hurt.
Fire crews were called to SCA’s Manchester Mill on Trafford Park Road on Friday afternoon, September 23.
The blaze broke out in the production area at the mill, which makes household tissue products.
All employees at the mill were safely evacuated and there was no structural damage caused to the building.
SCA Operations Director Jim Lang said: “We are very grateful for the speedy response from the fire service, who stayed at the site for some time to ensure there were no further risks before our employees could return.”
