A FED-UP resident hit out at council partnership One Trafford after a litter complaint was closed – despite recording reams of rubbish strewn across the street.
Residents group Love Gorse Hill shared a video on social media documenting the poor state of an alleyway in Gorse Street, off Chester Road.
My report has been closed as the work has been completed @Ameyplc @TraffordCouncil does this disgusting alley look completed. It smells too. pic.twitter.com/iurKEbNsOB

@LoveGorseHill @TraffordCouncil Hi could you send me the job reference number that you were provided with when this was initially logged?

The videomaker wrote: “My report has been closed as the work has been completed @Ameyplc @TraffordCouncil does this disgusting alley look completed. It smells too.”
The video shows overflowing bins, discarded pizza boxes and mushy cardboard boxes.
Trafford councillor Mike Cordingley shared the video, writing; "Really do need resolution to this".
Amey, the private contractor which works in partnership with Trafford Council under the One Trafford umbrella, responded to the original tweet and Cllr Cordingley's tweet. They stated a report has been made and requested future complaints be logged via the council website.
@MikeCordingley Thanks, we’ve reported it. To help us respond to issues quickly, please report it at https://t.co/vuLrULUlu8 in future
