An ITV thriller which was filmed across Greater Manchester is set to arrive on our screens today (January 10).

After the Flood was filmed at locations including Bury's Burrs Country Park and close to the Trafford Centre.

Created by BAFTA-nominated actor and writer Mick Ford, the six-part series stars Sophie Rundle (Gentleman Jack and Peaky Blinders) as PC Joanna Marshall, who investigates after a man is discovered dead in the lift of a car park after a flood.

After the Flood also stars Lorraine Ashbourne (Bridgerton and Sherwood), Matt Stokoe (Bodyguard and Jamestown), Nicholas Gleaves (The Crown and Demon Headmaster) and Philip Glenister (Ashes to Ashes and Life on Mars) among others.

Sophie Rundle said: "I know viewers will be moved by the story we are telling.

"A story brought to life by the brilliantly talented team both on and off-screen."

After the Flood airs on ITV1 and ITVX on January 10 in the UK and it airs on BritBox International later in 2024 in other markets.
