Eleven Gendai Martial Arts students recently made Davyhulme club history by successfully grading and getting their new belts at a grading event.

Never before have so many Gendai students from the Davyhulme club successfully graded. The grading is a result of the hard work both the students and tutors have put in at training sessions held at Davyhulme Youth Club.

Sensei Colin Tarrant, who headed the grading panel, said he is extremely proud of each and every one of them. He added: “This achievement is testament to their unwavering commitment and dedication over many months and embodies the ethos of Gendai Martial Arts, which is that of success and team work”.

Gendai Martial Arts is a karate club based in Lymm which also has training centres at Partington, and Davyhulme.
