MANCHESTER Phoenix ice hockey club has invited all members of the public to meet their players and coaches at the Cresta Court Hotel on Wednesday, September 3.

The evening will be full of talk about the upcoming season with question and answer sessions with players, coaches and management all scheduled.

Fans will also have the opportunity to get photos taken with the English Premier Ice Hockey League Championship players.

The anticipation is building as the start date for the 2014/15 season creeps ever closer.

The organisation has announced the players. The fans have ordered their shirts. The players are in training. Preparation is well as truly underway for the J. Davidsons 'Men of Iron' to defend their English Premier Ice Hockey League title.

To attend the event, all guests will be asked for a minimum £3 donation to the Manchester Phoenix Community Sports Foundation (MPCSF) on the door.

There is limited space in the room and once full, the doors will have to be closed due to fire regulations.

Once again parking is provided free of charge by the venue however the car park does get full with guests, so anyone interested in attending is advised to turn up early.

The event starts at the Cresta Court at 7:30pm.

The supporters club will be attending to sign up any new fans who would like to become members and get their hands of exclusive supporter's club items and discounts and help their club throughout this season.

There will also be the opportunity for all fans to order the new Manchester Phoenix shirts, the designs of which were revealed on the August 3 at the club's shirt launch.

A range of refreshments will be available for purchase from the bar throughout the evening's events.
