Sale Ladies proved their right to be top of the table with an impressive 15 goals scored last weekend.

Due to the recent icy conditions they hadn't been able to play matches so had a crucial Divsion One double header.

They won 8-0 against Sale 2s on Saturday, a scoreline that doesn't reflect how well the 2s played - but Jane Fylan just couldn't stop scoring with five goals

This was followed by two from Captain Leanne Edwards and one from Carol Savage.

Sunday's opponents were Chester. Sale started well and scored an early goal (Savage) but Chester equalised soon after to take the score to 1-1 at half time.

Sale came out organised and well drilled and the goals began to come; Fylan (2) Loui Hargreaves (2) Edwards (2) and Savage (1) . The end result was 7-1 .

Sale 2s (Division One) again played well but just couldn't convert to goals and lost to Winnington Park on Sunday.

The Ladies' 3s playing in Division Four lost to Timperley. They were disappointed with their performance because they didn't play their usual game and have vowed to improve for next week.
