In regard to the letter 'Look after all in Sale Moor' (April 28), I am in total agreement with it.

A supermarket in Sale Moor is well overdue. We live in Sale Moor and like some other people, we don’t have a car. We have to go by bus to Sale to do our weekly shop.

A supermarket in Sale Moor would be within walking distance. As regards to traffic congestion in Sale Moor, that only seems to have happened since parking was allowed in front of the shops.

Surely doing shopping under one roof is progress instead of going from one shop to another. Cars are not the important issue to be considered in this matter, it is the people who live and Sale Moor and only them.
